Are you still 2.0+ compliant? (Updated to 26 May, 2008) – originally posted 19 May, 2008


The definition and meaning of Web 2.0+ is continually evolving; some are now calling it Web 2.1?


Now, this would be getting towards Web 2.0+; collective intelligence - collaboration, democratic – non heirarchical, open to the public – real recognition, ownership – potential for passion, permanence – searchable resources, transparent – instant gratification, conversations and dialogue.


Web 2.0 Validator (to see if your Blog/Web Page is 2.0 compliant - Caution, there are some biases here)


Generally, as at 26 May, 2008, following is a list of items that might tend to point to being Web 2.0+ compliant (as opposed to Web 1.0+?): We can think of many more items that can, and will be added as time allows. Collaboration, integration, interaction and participation are key to the Web 2.0+ definition.
