YouTube has made some changes

YouTube has just announced that they have increased the video time on their free site > to 15 minutes, up from 10 minutes. (See additional information here)
Annotations are getting easier to add on YouTube. For more information, particularly as it might apply to designers, go to the YouTube Video - Picanno - a cool web 2.0 photo annotation tool for web/graphic designers. The biggest fault the YouTube system is that it doesn’t let you link out to 3rd party sites (huge spam issues would arise). Annotations do help you to grow subscribers. Used correctly (and there are tons of creative ways in which you can do this – see the last few seconds of the video, below) annotations are an easy way for you to quickly drive some new subscribers to your channel or views to other videos that might not have been getting so much traffic.
